Job summary

Stark Building Materials UK is seeking a Tool Hire Manager for our High Wycombe branch. You will lead day-to-day tool hire operations, supervise the team, and drive growth through proactive customer interaction and cross-selling.

The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern with some Saturday mornings, a competitive salary, staff discounts, life assurance, and 33 days of holiday. You will ensure inventory levels and service standards are maintained while delivering a high-quality customer experience

Qualifications

• Experience in tool hire is preferred.
• Supervision of the branch tool hire team in support of the Branch Manager.
• Active contribution to tool hire growth and profitability via cross-selling and upselling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day tool hire activities and deploy resources for safe operations.
• Lead by example with regular customer interaction to maximise growth.
• Provide guidance and feedback to team members and support their development.
• Deliver and collect customer orders, ensure accuracy and safety for loading/unloading.
• Support branch colleagues in building knowledge of tool hire products and standards.
