Jewson Colwick Industrial Estate is seeking a proactive Tool Hire Manager to lead day-to-day tool hire operations and supervise the branch team.

You will develop customer relationships, drive cross-selling, ensure accurate orders, safe loading and unloading of equipment, and maintain inventory levels across the local network, contributing to branch growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in tool hire is preferred.
• Supervision of the branch tool hire team in support of Branch Manager.
• Sales - contribute to Tool hire growth & profitability by cross-selling and upselling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day tool hire activities, deploying resources for safe, efficient operations.
• Lead by example with regular customer interaction to maximise growth.
• Provide guidance and feedback to team members to deliver high-quality customer service.
• Deliver and collect customer orders on time; ensure equipment is secured and loaded/offloaded safely.
• Support branch colleagues in building knowledge of tool hire products and ensure standards are maintained.
• Ensure inventory and availability levels meet customer needs, collaborating across the network.
