Job description
Overview

We are seeking an experienced Coded Welder (Stainless TIG) to join our client’s team, fabricating and welding stainless steel pipework and components to a high standard. You will work primarily in the workshop, following drawings and P&IDs, with occasional travel to client sites. This is a permanent position based in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and weld stainless steel pipework and components from drawings and P&IDs.
  • Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and industry best practices.
  • Occasionally travel to site locations for installation or maintenance work.
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
Requirements
  • Experience with stainless TIG welding
  • 5+ years’ fabrication experience, with the ability to work independently from drawings/P&IDs.
  • Strong background in pipework, including Sch10/40 and thin-walled 304 & 316 stainless steel.
  • Purge welding experience.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to work away from home occasionally.
Desirable
  • Experience with gas or heating pipework.
  • Pipe fitting skills, including flanges, valves, and pumps.

You are self-motivated, take pride in delivering quality workmanship, and are comfortable working independently or as part of a team. You communicate effectively and have proven experience in a commercial setting.
