A leading technology company in Bristol is seeking a Thermal Development Engineer to create efficient cooling solutions for electronic products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in thermal model development, a solid understanding of thermal behaviour, and proficiency in relevant software tools. As a Thermal Development Engineer, you will be working closely with the hardware and package development teams to develop cooling solutions for Graphcore’s integrated circuits, printed circuit boards and server blade components.
You will simulate the thermal behaviour of stacked die integrated circuits, thermal interface materials, PCBs and liquid cooled cold plates.
Graphcore’s Hardware Engineering Team creates both products for sale in volume production and hardware test & validation systems based on Graphcore’s IPU processor. These systems allow Graphcore’s customers to develop leading-edge machine-learning solutions for training and inference.
