Job summary

Esland Group is seeking a Residential Support Worker at our Calvington House near Newport, Shropshire. You will join a compassionate team delivering therapeutic, child-centred care to young people in a small home.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, the right to work in the UK, and a willingness to work 173 hours per month with a 2-on/4-off shift pattern including sleep-ins. Salary ranges £32,242–£35,745 per year.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
• Age 21 or above due to industry regulations.
• Previous childcare or support worker experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to up to 3 young people in a nurturing, therapeutic environment.
• Support with domestic needs and socialisation activities.
• Facilitate access to educational programmes and outings.
• Commit to Safer Recruitment Practices and background checks.
