Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd is seeking a Children’s Residential Care Worker for their Stafford area service. You will support young people with daily care, activities, and therapeutic, person-centred approaches to help them achieve positive outcomes.

Role requires a full UK driving licence and incumbent must have the right to work in the UK. The setup includes 173 hours monthly with a two-days-on, four-off pattern and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence issued in the UK.
• Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
• Values aligned with Esland, taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare.
• Applicants must be aged 21 or above.
• Previous childcare or support worker experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing, therapeutic support to children in daily care.
• Support children's socialisation and learning through activities and outings.
• Assist with domestic tasks and routine household needs for residents.
• Collaborate with educators to implement personalised education plans.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and complete required checks.
