Job summary

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner for Major Orthopaedic Scrub on a bank/ad-hoc basis. You will work across anaesthetic and recovery phases, scrub for major orthopaedic cases, and collaborate with surgeons and anaesthetists to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered Theatre Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
• Post-registration experience in major orthopaedic scrub role
• Excellent communicator and team worker

Responsibilities

• Work with leading consultants and like-minded professionals
• Supervise, support and develop junior staff
• Deliver high-quality and evidence-based patient care across anaesthetic and recovery phases
• Collaborate with anaesthetists and surgical teams to prepare and monitor patients pre, during, and post-surgery
