Job summary

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking Theatre Practitioners to join our bank/ad hoc team. You will contribute to high standard orthopaedic theatre care in a busy hospital.

You will be a registered Theatre Nurse or ODP with orthopaedic scrub experience, bring excellent communication and teamwork, and be flexible to cover shifts as needed.

We offer competitive hourly rates up to £26.50 depending on experience, a generous benefits package, and access to our wellbeing and development programmes.

Qualifications

• Registered Theatre Nurse or ODP with post-registration orthopaedic scrub experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; flexible and motivated.
• NMC or HCPC registration required.

Responsibilities

• Work with leading consultants and like-minded professionals.
• Supervise and develop junior staff.
• Deliver high-quality care during anaesthetic and recovery phases of surgery.
• Collaborate with anaesthetists and surgical teams to prepare and monitor patients pre, during, and post-surgery.
• Interact well with ward colleagues to ensure continuity of patient care.
