Theatre Practitioner – Bank
Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone
Contract: Bank – Zero Hours Contract
Hourly Rate: £23.00 per hour plus Holiday Pay
Available Shifts: Between Monday and Saturday (07:30 – 18:00)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Theatre Practitioner to join our bank staff team. This is a flexible role, working across anaesthetics, scrub or recovery, ensuring top‑quality clinical care and safety for patients within the theatre unit.

Role Overview

As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, with a focus on delivering excellent healthcare. You will be an experienced ODP or Theatre Nurse, driven by a passion for patient care, and eager to contribute to a high‑performing team.

Role Responsibilities
  • Assess patient care requirements independently and act as a resource for other staff, implementing care and evaluating outcomes.
  • Undertake all safety checks to a high standard and document appropriately.
  • Work flexibly across anaesthetics, scrub, and recovery, depending on the department's needs.
  • Ensure the highest standards of infection prevention and control are maintained.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to facilitate cohesive teamwork.

Person Specification
  • Registered Practitioner (RN or ODP).

  • Passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
