Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Exeter is seeking a Test and Run Technician to join our depot team. The role involves busy, productive testing of electrical and functional aspects, plus servicing and cleaning items returned from hire to ensure safety and presentability for the next customer.

You will learn from in-house training courses and have opportunities for career progression. Requirements include basic electrical (12/24v) and mechanical skills, good communication, and prior experience in hire or

Job Title - Test and Run Technician

Location - Exeter

Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 17:00 - 42 hours per week

Salary £29,572 per annum pro rata

The role of a Test and Run Technician is a busy and productive role in the depot, performing basic electrical and functionality testing as well as servicing and cleaning products returned from hire to ensure they are safe and presentable, ready for the next customer to take away.

What you'll need:

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v)
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools effectively
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
