Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Test and Run Technician to join our depot team. The role involves performing basic electrical and functionality testing, as well as servicing and cleaning products returned from hire to ensure they are safe and presentable for the next customer.

You will work Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:00 (42 hours per week) and have access to our in-house training and development programs as part of a supportive career path within Speedy.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v)
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools effectively
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical and functionality tests on returned hire products.
• Service and clean returned products to ensure safety and presentation for the next customer.

The role of a Test and Run Technician is a busy and productive role in the depot, performing basic electrical and functionality testing as well as servicing and cleaning products returned from hire to ensure they are safe and presentable, ready for the next customer to take away.
