Job summary

Howdens Joinery seeks a Territory Sales Representative to drive new business and expand our local customer base in the UK. You will be field-based, building a strong trade network, winning opportunities, and turning conversations into durable partnerships with depots and customers.

You will manage a defined territory with autonomy, focusing on growth, customer service, and delivering on sales targets while upholding Health & Safety standards and building long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning new business or working in a target-driven sales role.
• Confident engaging trade customers from first conversation.
• Self-motivated, resilient with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to build product knowledge in joinery and hardware.
• Strong organisation skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by proactively approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities.
• Grow the account base across your territory and support depot performance.
• Introduce new customers to the Howdens model and its benefits.
• Collaborate with depot teams to grow account spend and trading frequency.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
