Job summary

Howdens Joinery, the UK’s No1 Trade Kitchen Supplier, is looking for a Territory Sales Representative to grow local trade customer accounts. This field-based role offers autonomy to win new business and nurture relationships across your territory, with depot support and a clear focus on sustainable growth.

You will build trust with customers, manage opportunities from first contact to close, and collaborate with depot teams to drive spend. A full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Track record of winning new business or target-driven sales.
• Confident engaging trade customers from first conversation.
• Self-motivated, resilient with drive to succeed.
• Ability to build product and service knowledge in joinery and hardware.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by proactively approaching customers and converting opportunities.
• Grow account base across territory and support each depot’s performance.
• Introduce new customers to Howdens model and its benefits.
• Collaborate with depot teams to increase spend and trading frequency.
• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts.
• Handle customer enquiries from first contact to resolution.
• Contribute to team meetings with insights and updates.
• Keep data up to date and maintain pipeline visibility.
• Work safely in line with Health & Safety standards.
