Job Mission
You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for defined accounts within Essex and Cambridgeshire. You will represent Stryker as a leader in our industry and the marketplace by building and maintaining strong business relationships with key surgeons and HCPs. You need to manage high-volume activity, drive market growth in line with expectations, and implement cross-divisional strategies to capture new business growth.

Key Activities & Accountabilities
- Outperform the market by increasing market share for Stryker Joint Replacement products in your territory and exceeding sales targets.
- Maximize current business with existing customers and develop strategies to meet challenges and seize opportunities.
- Develop relationships with potential new customers through presentations and discussions about Stryker’s philosophy and product benefits. Aim to meet all hip/knee replacement surgeons in your territory within the first 6 months.
- Become a product expert by passing the JR101 course within 6 weeks, and further develop your knowledge through JR201 and JR301 courses within 12 months.
- Lead in-theatre joint replacement procedures by spending quality time with customers and providing staff training as needed.
- Create a territory-specific business plan aligned with corporate goals, with clear, measurable outcomes, and maintain an Individual Development Plan (IDP).
- Proactively collaborate with other Stryker colleagues to optimize opportunities and customer relationships.
Experience Required
- At least 4 years of sales experience, ideally in medical sales (experience in joint replacement is a bonus).
- Commercial acumen, understanding of theatre and surgical procedure budgets and costs.
- Proficiency in MS Office and presentation skills.
- Workshop, demonstration, and training skills.
- Good knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

- Ability to engage with various hospital staff levels, including HCPs, theatre staff, management, and C-suite.
