Job summary

DPD UK is recruiting a Territory Sales Executive to join our team and drive new business across allocated regions. You will cold call, visit prospects, and develop a personal sales funnel to achieve revenue targets while representing a major parcel-delivery leader.

You will need excellent communication and negotiation skills, a tenacious attitude, and a valid UK driving licence. The role involves Monday to Friday work with a 37.5 hour week and base locations in Stoke, Walsall and Crewe.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or a similar environment.
• Strong communication, persuading and influencing skills.
• Tenacious attitude with drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop a personal prospect funnel to fund new business targets.
• Monitor new customers to ensure trading to agreed profile; deliver action plans if variances occur.
• Hand over new accounts to Customer Care Team or CRM Account Manager within 8 weeks of trade.
• Identify and pursue regular trading opportunities daily and weekly.
• Champion the partnership process with new prospects.
• Achieve productivity targets, including 12 new prospect visits per week.
• Meet portfolio product targets and obtain all necessary documentation for credit facilities.
