Job summary

Olympus Corporation is seeking a field sales professional to establish direct sales of the Urology range across designated UK territories. You will demonstrate equipment to clinical staff in hospitals, meet with procurement managers, and grow market share while providing after-sales support.

You will manage opportunities end-to-end, forecast accurately, and represent Olympus at exhibitions and educational events. The role includes training customers and leveraging ISP and CRM to drive results.

Qualifications

  • Experience within a field sales environment, ideally within the healthcare industry.
  • Self-motivated with a strong will to succeed.
  • Highly skilled in organising and planning multiple demands & priorities.
  • Demonstrates high levels of integrity in dealings with external & internal customers.
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
  • Highly motivated to provide exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Focussed personal continuous improvement & development.
  • Valid UK Driving License.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales opportunities within your territory through to successful completion using ISP.
  • Accurate & regular forecasting of sales opportunities.
  • Professionally represent the organisation at face to face/virtual exhibitions, workshops and educational meetings.
  • Deliver post sales training, commissioning and support for new and existing customers across product portfolio.
  • Develop and deliver customer sales presentations in conjunction with customer requirements and communicate Olympus solutions & value propositions.
  • Ensure diary is managed effectively to maximise customer interactions & manage sales activities through the effective use of CRM.
  • Manage the clinical activity within an endoscopy/theatre environments inclusive of patient/product demonstrations and clinical meetings.
  • Proactively use the Integrated Sales Process & relevant selling techniques to progress opportunities.
  • A robust understanding of the product portfolio within the business unit.

This post is responsible for establishing direct sales of the Olympus Urology product range on their territory, this will cover West Sussex Hampshire, Berkshire, Cheltenham and Gloucestershire

The role involves demonstrating the Olympus Urology equipment to clinical staff within hospitals, carrying out meetings with business and procurement managers with a view to growing market share for their portfolio as well as providing after sales support.
