STS Storage Systems Ltd. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales of warehouse storage and handling solutions in Farnham Common and surrounding areas.

The role involves identifying new business, managing existing accounts, and conducting site visits to tailor proposals that meet client requirements and budget. You will present tailored solutions, prepare quotes, and work with design/operations teams to ensure ROI-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• B2B field sales experience in warehouse storage, logistics, or related industrial sector.
• Prospecting, lead generation and account management skills.
• Ability to interpret warehouse layouts and communicate storage concepts clearly.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills for proposals to decision-makers.
• CRM proficiency and standard office software for tracking opportunities and reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities for territory management.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory.
• Experience in warehousing/logistics sales and ROI-driven customer solutions is advantageous.
• Relevant education in business, sales, engineering or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Manage existing accounts and perform site visits to understand client requirements.
• Present tailored storage and handling solutions, prepare quotes and proposals.
• Follow up to close opportunities while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with design and operations teams to ensure proposed systems meet needs and budget.
• Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline and forecasts; participate in internal meetings and events.
