Darlington College is seeking a Safeguarding and Welfare Advisor to provide front line support for students and uphold safeguarding across the college. The role is term-time only, three days a week, with a permanent contract and an hourly rate of £14.36–£15.13.

• Frontline safeguarding and welfare support for students.
• Liaise with college staff, parents and external agencies.
• Plan and deliver mentoring and pastoral support.
• Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding best practices.

• Provide immediate and first line support to students in crisis.
• Monitor attendance, behaviour and wellbeing and refer as needed.
• Support admissions, induction and transition activities.
