Job summary

Access Creative College is seeking a Learner Services Advisor to support learning delivery, student welfare and safeguarding in a Birmingham centre. The role is term-time only with 37.5 hours per week, combining front-of-house duties, learner support, and administrative tasks to ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.

You will work with the Senior Learner Services Advisor and LSM to implement interventions, maintain records, and support Exam Access Arrangements. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering learner support and safeguarding.
• Ability to maintain accurate records in learning logs and pastoral notes.
• Strong communication with learners, staff, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver focused learning interventions for learners with identified support needs.
• Record learner progress and pastoral contacts in required logs.
• Assist in preparing ALS learner profiles and support plans.
• Support Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) by gathering evidence.
• Manage front-of-house to provide a welcoming, professional service.
• Assist with administrative tasks including admissions, enrolment, and data reporting.
• Support career guidance activities and safeguarding processes.
