Job summary

Caterlink Ltd is hiring a Chef Manager at South Ascot primary school, Ascot to deliver nutritionally balanced meals during term time. You will prepare, cook and present food to high standards and oversee health, safety and environmental compliance.

You will manage day-to-day running, inventories and budgets, supervise staff, and act as the main client contact at the school to drive improvements and meet KPIs and targets. Training and development are emphasised.

Qualifications

• Catering NVQ level 2 or equivalent desired (but not essential)
• Experience in education catering preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards
• Ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety compliance at the location
• Manage day-to-day running, inventories, budgets and action plans
• Be the main client contact at the school and implement improvements
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with line manager
• Train and develop teams, ensuring training is completed and performance is managed
