Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef Manager for Bodsham, Ashford, to deliver nutritionally balanced meals and high-quality service in a school setting. The role is term-time only with no weekends, offering flexible hours and a 25-hour week.

You will prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards, supervise the site team, manage inventories and budgets, and act as the main contact for the client in your school. DBS check will be obtained for this role.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental compliance.
• Manage day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams, including inventories and budgets.
• Be the main contact for the client in your school and implement improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with your line manager and ensure targets are met.
• Train and develop teams and ensure performance is managed.
