Job summary

Caterlink, the education sector catering specialist, is recruiting a Chef Manager to lead the London South East College - Bexley Campus, Erith on a 6-month contract. The role is term-time only with no weekend work, offering 35 hours per week.

You will prepare, cook and present nutritionally balanced meals, supervise staff, manage budgets, and liaise with the client to ensure high standards and continuous improvement. DBS check will be completed for this role.

Qualifications

• Term-time only role with no weekends.
• Experience in catering or school food service preferred.
• DBS check will be enhanced for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, inventories and budgets.
• Serve as main contact for the client in the school and implement improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with line manager.
