Job summary

Chartwells Independent in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced School Cook to oversee catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service.
• Communicating with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our teams to exceed expectations.
• Training teams and leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implementing Health & Safety standards across all catering teams.
