Job summary

The Sheffield College is a large, vibrant further education college and is seeking a Personal Tutor to support students through formal 121s and pastoral interventions, aiming to improve outcomes and positive destinations including UCAS applications.

You will contribute to SHAPE initiatives and focus on students with protected characteristics, delivering targeted support within a term-time schedule of 22.2 hours per week across 40 weeks.

• Formal 121s and pastoral interventions to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Increase breadth of SHAPE (Staying Safe, Health and Well-being, Active Citizenship, Progression and Careers and Equality Matters).
• Improve outcomes for academy students through formal 121s and other pastoral interventions, focusing on protected groups.
