Job summary

Randstad Education is partnering with a Further Education college to recruit a Student Achievement Tutor. Based at LSEC Bromley, the role is term-time, full-time, delivering weekly group tutorials and 1-to-1 mentoring to support student achievement and progression.

You will guide students through UCAS applications, personal statements, and Gatsby benchmarks while liaising with staff, families, and external agencies to remove barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 in literacy and numeracy required.
• A relevant degree (e.g., Youth Work) or FE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly group tutorials covering pastoral topics and career preparation.
• Manage a caseload of around 300 students across ~15 groups.
• Conduct 1-to-1 mentoring to set SMART targets and track progress.
• Lead attendance and behaviour interventions with staff and external agencies.
• Support UCAS applications, personal statements, and Gatsby benchmarks.
