Job summary

Henry Blue in the United Kingdom is seeking a Full-Time Pastoral Personal Development Tutor to support 16-19 learners with wellbeing, attendance and progression.

You will deliver group tutorials on personal development, provide 1:1 pastoral support and set SMART targets, while monitoring learner progress and behaviour.

Building strong relationships with learners, parents and college staff, you will coordinate with internal teams to secure positive progression into further study or employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral support, personal development, mentoring, tutoring, safeguarding, attendance or behaviour support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group tutorials covering personal development, safeguarding, careers, wellbeing and study skills.
• Provide 1:1 pastoral support and set SMART targets with learners.

• Identify barriers to achievement and put appropriate support and interventions in place.

Pastoral Personal Development Tutor

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Pastoral / Personal Development Tutor to join a college on a long-term, ongoing temporary basis.

Role details:

The role will focus on supporting 16-19-year-old learners with their personal development, wellbeing, attendance, behaviour and progression. You will act as a key point of contact for students, providing pastoral guidance, delivering tutorials and supporting learners through 1:1 meetings.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is confident, approachable and passionate about supporting young people. Previous experience within a college, school, training provider or youth setting would be highly beneficial.

Experience in pastoral support, personal development, mentoring, tutoring, safeguarding, attendance or behaviour support is particularly desirable.
