Job summary

Knowsley College in St Helens is seeking a Personal Development Tutor to provide pastoral support to a caseload of students. You will work closely with subject teachers, parents and other stakeholders to support students on their personal and academic development within the college.

You will monitor progress, attendance and plan next steps, delivering group and 1:1 tutorials, signposting to wider student services, and promoting wellbeing and personal development opportunities across the college.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support to a caseload of students.
• Monitor students' overall performance, attendance and progress against targets.
• Deliver group and 1:1 tutorials reviewing progress and signposting to services.
• Develop effective partnerships with teachers, parents/carers and stakeholders.
