Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Tenant Liaison Officer for a Wirral retrofit project on a temporary contract until December 2026, with potential for permanency. You will visit tenants, explain planned works, and act as the main point of contact for queries.

You must have a full driving licence and own transport; CSCS card is preferred. The role is paid via umbrella with a negotiable hourly rate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-entry visits and inductions.
• Visit tenants and explain upcoming works to them.
• Be the main contact for tenant queries and issues.
• Liaise with neighbourhood housing associations and build partnerships.
• Visit empty refurbished houses with prospective tenants and advise on completion dates.
• Attend and chair tenant forum meetings to inform tenants of works.
• Monitor customer complaints and work to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.

Are you a Tenant Liaison Officer looking for a new challenge? We have a position available with a Social Housing Contractor who focus on quality of service and customer care and have great staff retention rates.

My client are a well-established Social Housing Contractor, who have an excellent reputation and strong pipeline of work. They are currently recruiting for a Tenant Liaison Officer to join them on a temporary contract until December 2026, with the opportunity for a permanent contract all being well.

This is working on a retrofit scheme on the Wirral.

Duties include:

• Pre entry visits and company inductions
• Collect tenancy agreement/approval forms
• Visiting tenants in their homes and to advise them on when and what work is being carried out
• Act as the main point of contact and deal with any problems/queries that tenant may have
• Contacting neighbourhood housing associations and establishing working relations with them
• Visiting empty houses that are being refurbished with potential tenants and advising them on completion dates
• Attending and chairing tenant forum meetings to advise tenants of works being carried out
• Monitor customer complaints and resolve any potential issues
• Monitor customer satisfaction

You must also have a full driving licence along with your own transport and ideally hold a current CSCS Card.
