Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is recruiting two Tenant Liaison Officers to support the delivery of an extensive improvement programme across the Council’s housing estate.

Based in Waverley Court, the role focuses on engaging with tenants, ensuring effective consultation, and identifying the needs of vulnerable residents while working with Housing Locality teams to deliver upgrades and meet energy efficiency and net zero targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in tenant liaison and community engagement.
• Ability to consult with diverse stakeholders and identify tenant needs.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of the relationship and services to the tenants during the delivery of the programmes.
• Carry out effective consultation to ensure the Council’s programmes are supported by the local communities and key stakeholders.
• Ensure the needs of individual, vulnerable tenants are identified and liaise with the appropriate services to identify workable solutions for everyone.
