Tenancy Support Worker

  • Hourly Rate: £15.48 PAYE
  • Location: Sheffield, S1 and S8
  • Job Type: Interim, 37 hours per week

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Tenancy Support Worker to join a newly launched project aimed at supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and facing complex needs. This role is crucial in helping people transition into and sustain independent living by providing tailored, person-centred support.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised support to vulnerable individuals with diverse needs.
  • Develop and maintain effective support plans in collaboration with service users.
  • Promote independence and tenancy sustainment through practical and emotional support.
  • Liaise with external agencies, housing providers, and community services to coordinate holistic support.
  • Monitor progress and adapt support strategies to meet changing needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development through feedback and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Empathy and resilience, with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable people.
  • Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Strong communication skills, able to build trust and positive relationships with individuals and professionals.
  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
