Zusammenfassung

Mabey Hire is seeking a Design Engineer to join our engineering team and deliver temporary works designs for groundworks and building refurbishment projects. Reporting to the Design Team Leader, you will produce safe, compliant schemes and assist with site visits and client meetings.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering qualification with a minimum of 3 years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or REVIT, with knowledge of BS5975:2019 and CDM 2015.

Qualifikationen

• HND or degree in civil/structural engineering.
• At least 3 years experience designing temporary works.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D and/or REVIT; familiarity with BS5975:2019 and CDM 2015.

Aufgaben

• Experience of designing temporary works for groundworks and/or building refurbishment propping (e.g. geotechnical design of sheet pile cofferdams and/or propping and needling).
• Prepare temporary works designs for groundworks and eventually other product schemes.
• Checking designs and drawing in accordance with BS5975:2019.
• Attend client meetings and carry out site visits.
• Review design briefs from sales and provide feedback where more information is needed.
• Manage your own workload and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
