Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Llay Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Maintenance Worker/Handyman.

• 6 month Contract
• 37 hours per week
• Job location: Llay, Wrexham, LL12 0PB.
• Unionised site – works in partnership with Unite the Union.

Working within a machine tool environment. The Maintenance Fitter will assist the maintenance team in maintaining the site and equipment associated with the manufacture of aircraft components.

Essential Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance to the maintenance schedule.
• Work safely with minimum supervision.
• Carry out a wide range of minor repairs to plant and equipment.
• Support other maintenance team members in their day to day roles.
• Work with basic hand tools.
• Maintain high standards of 6S and directly offer improvements.

Academic:

• Fork lift/combi lift or crane license is an advantage
