Job Description

This is a fully remote job and can be based in Cornwall/Devon.
We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Field Service Technician, supporting one of our prestigious clients. You will provide vital repair services in retail environments within an assigned territory as part of our customer-facing technical teams.
Full product training is provided, along with a company vehicle and fuel card. The role offers a competitive salary with additional overtime at enhanced rates and standby payments.

Responsibilities
  • Gain familiarity with Field Service Technician practices and procedures.
  • Participate in hardware and software training (on-the-job, classroom, web-based).
  • Use Diebold Nixdorf’s diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
  • Perform hardware repairs and maintenance.
  • Clean, adjust, and configure components.
  • Configure and install applicable software.
  • Perform routine checks according to documented procedures.
  • Instruct and train customers on hardware and software usage.
  • Participate in measures to achieve KPIs.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience or equivalent in mobile engineering disciplines.
  • Experience in IT, EPOS, Break Fix, or Customer Support preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full, clean UK driver’s license required.
