Customer Service Advisor - Fraud (Remote Glasgow)

Are you seeking new opportunities in 2025? We have exciting positions available with a June start date. Join one of the UK's leading banking groups as a Customer Service Advisor within the Fraud Team. You will support customers who have been victims of fraud.

This role is remote, but candidates must be local to Leeds or Glasgow for potential office attendance. The company offers an attractive holiday allowance of 39.5 days per year. The earliest start date is June 2025, and the hourly rate is £12.91, paid weekly via Search.

The initial contract is for 6 months, with potential for permanent employment based on performance. The role involves a 35-hour workweek, with core hours from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on a rotational basis (once every 3 Saturdays). Flexibility within these hours is available.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing excellent customer service and working towards the best solution for the customer.
  • Supporting customers experiencing financial difficulties or victims of fraud/scams.
  • Collecting detailed information from customers to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Coordinating with third parties to deliver best practice support.
  • Using effective probing and active listening to gather information, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Aiming for positive outcomes for both customers and the company.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in frontline customer service.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity, questioning skills, and negotiation abilities to find the best solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with a sincere approach to understanding customer needs.
  • A caring, positive attitude, patience, resilience, and a passion for helping people in challenging situations.
