Job summary

LiveWest is offering a 12-week agency placement for a Housing Officer, covering a neighbourhood patch including Newcourt, St Leonards, St Loyes, Hill Barton and Monkerton. The role focuses on tenancy management, sign-ups, viewings and handling queries, with safeguarding considerations.

The position is field-based, requiring a full UK driving licence and CIH Level 4 or commitment to achieve it. Hybrid working with in-office days applies.

Qualifications

• CIH Level 4, or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience in social housing, including tenancy, estate and housing management.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer queries, permissions and tenancy management.
• Act as primary relationship manager for customers on the patch.
• Respond to tenancy enquiries and carry out sign-ups and viewings.
• Ensure compliance with tenancy agreements and manage breaches, including safeguarding.
