Job summary

Rocasa Consulting Ltd are recruiting a Temporary Housing Officer to cover the Cambridgeshire Patch for 4 months. The role is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, with 2/3 days in Patch and 2/3 days at home. Pay is £215 per day via Umbrella.

You must live in the Patch - Cambridgeshire area and have prior Housing Officer experience. A UK Driving Licence and access to a car are required.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for customers on housing management issues and liaise with departments to resolve enquiries.
• Deliver customer-focused service to sustain tenancies.
• Report repairs and health & safety concerns in communal areas.
• Deliver tenancy management including sign-ups and amendments to tenancy agreements.
• Identify breaches of tenancy such as ASB or sub-letting.
• Maximise rental income and advise on rent arrears.
• Contribute to service improvements and resident involvement.
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct home visits and tenancy reviews within the first year.

Job description

Rocasa Consulting Ltd are recruiting a Temporary Housing Officer to cover the Cambridgeshire Patch for 4 Months, Working Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm 2/3 Day in Patch the 2/3 Days at Home, Paying £215 per day via Umbrella.

Must live in Patch - Cambridgeshire area.

• Act as an advocate for customers on housing management issues and liaise with relevant departments to ensure housing enquiries are resolved.
• Deliver an effective customer focused service to customers, ensuring support and advice is provided to help customers sustain their tenancies.
• Report household repairs and any communal block repairs or health and safety concerns
• Deliver a tenancy management service tailored to the needs of our customers, including sign ups of new tenancies, and enabling amendments to existing tenancy agreements.
• Identify breaches of tenancy agreements, such as ASB, illegal occupancy or sub-letting.
• Maximise rental income through management of rent accounts and advising customers about rent arrears.
• Contribute to service improvement and resident involvement to achieve resident satisfaction with services.
• Develop and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure our customers are the heart of what we do and the service we provide is excellent.
• Conduct home visits and tenancy reviews and visits within a customer's first year of being a tenant and beyond
• Refer concerns of safeguarding to the relevant agencies
• Work alongside statutory agencies to encourage tenancy sustainment
• You must have UK Driving Licence and Access to a Car and have previous experience as a Housing Officer
