Job summary

Royal Mail is inviting enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible Post Person with Driving. You will deliver letters and parcels in your community, combining van rounds with on-foot delivery to ensure every item reaches its destination.

We offer varied shifts, the chance to work in a supportive team, and pay rates from £16.24 to £19.00 per hour depending on the shift. A driving licence and fitness to walk long distances are required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot across your delivery round.
• Safely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials per standards.
• Provide friendly, local service in all weather.
