Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll deliver letters and parcels across your community, combining driving and walking portions of your route, and representing Royal Mail with pride in every neighbourhood.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence (max 6 points), be physically fit to walk up to 20,000 steps per day, and handle bags up to 16 kg.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary and you’ll need to be a team player who adapts quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your route.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and walk portions of the route.
• Ensure items reach destinations safely and in good condition.
