Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers (temporary). As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll deliver letters and parcels in your community, driving a Royal Mail van on your route and occasionally delivering on foot, providing courteous service come rain or shine.

You’ll need a full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, the stamina to walk up to 20,000 steps per day, and the flexibility to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route and drive a Royal Mail delivery van when required.
• Provide courteous, reliable service and ensure items reach their destination safely, come rain or shine.
