Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, combining driving with walking on foot to complete your route.

A UK full manual driving licence is required, with up to 6 points, and you must be able to walk up to 20,000 steps and lift mailbags weighing up to 16kg. Shifts vary and a driving assessment may be required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and lift a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your local area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van on your round and ensure secure delivery.
