Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting for a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across your local area. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van and sometimes deliver on foot, providing excellent service in all weather.

This temporary role requires a full UK driving licence, the ability to walk long distances (up to 20,000 steps daily) and handling items up to 16kg. Shifts vary; flexibility is essential for short-notice changes.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk ~20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; flexible team players required on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as the face of Royal Mail in the local community.
• Drive a delivery van on your round and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Ensure secure delivery and follow Royal Mail standards for all items.
