Job summary

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a proactive Temporary Accommodation Site Officer to manage relocatable accommodation sites across West Northamptonshire. You will ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment, conduct inspections, coordinate repairs, and support residents to sustain their accommodation.

You will work closely with residents, contractors, and partner organisations, maintaining thorough records and responding to enquiries while promoting positive community standards

Qualifications

• Experience managing temporary accommodation, supported housing, or rented housing.
• Knowledge of private rented sector legislation, policy and practice.
• Experience with housing standards and safeguarding considerations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of relocatable temporary accommodation sites.
• Conduct site inspections and health and safety checks.
• Coordinate repairs, liaise with contractors and residents.
• Maintain accurate records and support residents to sustain accommodation.
• Induct new occupants and prepare properties for occupancy.
