Job summary

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a Temporary Accommodation Site Officer to manage relocatable accommodation sites across the area. You will ensure a safe, clean and well-maintained environment and support residents facing housing difficulties.

You will inspect sites, coordinate repairs, liaise with contractors and agencies, and maintain accurate records while providing practical help and a responsive service to residents.

Qualifications

• Experience managing temporary accommodation, supported housing, or rented housing.
• Excellent communication skills for a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to use initiative and problem-solve in a housing context.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of relocatable temporary accommodation sites.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor health and safety compliance.
• Coordinate repairs and liaise with contractors and agencies.
• Support residents, respond to enquiries, and promote community standards.
