Sovereign Network Group is seeking a Temporary Accommodation Officer to join our on-site housing team in Shaftesbury. You will support residents in temporary homeless accommodation, helping them overcome barriers to securing permanent housing and managing tenancy-related tasks on a daily basis.
The role involves on-site responsibilities, income/benefits guidance, and health and safety checks, working with partner organisations to create smooth pathways to stable housing.
Salary: £27,000.00 - £30,000.00 Per year We have a rewarding opportunity for a Temporary Accommodation Officer to join our team in Shaftesbury. This is a full-time permanent role working in our temporary homeless accommodation schemes principally based at our 6 bedroom Temporary Accommodation project in Shaftesbury. You’ll need to be able to work on site every day to provide support for our residents. The role: Our Temporary Accommodation Officers provide an enhanced, proactive housing management service for customers in our temporary homeless accommodation. As a Temporary Accommodation Officer you’ll help our residents overcome barriers and prepare for more secure accommodation. This may include assistance with income and benefits, personal housing plans, rent accounts and resolving tenancy issues and other barriers to seeking permanent accommodation. You’ll also be responsible for carrying out regular scheme inspections and undertaking health and safety tests.
You’ll need a full UK driver's license and your own transport.
