Job summary

Catering in Wyboston is seeking a Temporary Reservationist to join a busy reservations team for a few months. The role covers reservations across bedrooms, spa, golf, restaurants and group bookings, requiring excellent service and accurate record-keeping. Protel or Opera experience is essential.

You'll handle enquiries, upsell services and work with multiple departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, while maintaining detailed guest profiles and payments in the systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience using Protel or Opera is essential to be considered.
• Experience within reservations, hospitality or a customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness with upselling opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservations by telephone, email and online across bedrooms, spa, golf, restaurants and group bookings.
• Record and communicate special requests and guest requirements accurately.
• Maintain bookings, guest profiles, payments and correspondence in relevant systems.
• Proactively upsell services including room upgrades, dining, golf, spa and packages.
• Coordinate room allocation and overbooking to maximise occupancy.
• Collaborate with Guest Services, Revenue, Meetings & Events and venue teams for smooth operations.
• Manage group bookings, reports and financial processes per company procedures.
• Handle feedback and complaints professionally while supporting commercial goals.
