Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a seamless, guest-focused reservations experience
- Communicate effectively with the wider sales, front office and operational teams to ensure alignment on bookings and guest needs
- Communicates effectively with guests via email, telephone, and in person, consistently maintaining a professional and approachable manner.
- Demonstrating confidence and clarity when handling telephone conversations, ensuring guests are informed, valued and well assisted at all times.

Product
- Manage a variety of reservations including individual bookings, group stays, sports teams and golf packages
- Provide a personalised booking experience that reflects the hotel’s luxury positioning
- Accurately input and maintain rates, packages and availability within the PMS
- Stay informed on current offers, promotions and services to effectively assist guests
Planning
- Handle day-to-day reservation tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Confidently use PMS and multi booking systems to include; golf, spa and restaurant
- Ensure all guest profiles and booking details are recorded correctly to support database quality, marketing strategies.
Profit
- Maximise revenue opportunities through upselling rooms, packages and additional services
- Support bookings across all segments, including leisure, group and golf, to drive incremental revenue
- Ensure accuracy in rates and reservations to minimise errors and discrepancies
- Contribute to achieving team revenue targets through attention to detail and proactive selling
- Proven experience as a Receptionist/Reservationist within a luxury or four/five-star hotel/resort.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding luxury guest expectations.
- Confident user of PMS and reservations systems, ideally Guestline/Rezlynx (Opera, Guestline, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- A calm, professional character who performs well under pressure.
- Passionate about luxury hospitality and personalised service
- Must have the right to work in the UK

LOCATION: Tewkesbury Park, Gloucestershire, GL20 7DN
SALARY: £28,000 per annum
HOURS: 40 hours per week, to include some weekends and early evening viewings.
*Part-time would be considered – 32 hours per week over 4 days
