Job summary

Wise Monkey Recruitment ltd invites a friendly Temporary Customer Service & Telesales Assistant to join a busy team in Dorking. This office-based, part-time role covers three days per week (up to 21 hours) for an initial 4-week term with possible extension.

You will converse with customers by phone and email, guide them through online submissions, answer questions, and keep records updated. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Friendly, confident and pleasant on the phone.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage follow-ups.
• Confident communicating with people internationally.
• Experience in telesales or customer service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Calling previous and potential customers.
• Following up with people who started but not completed an online submission.
• Answering questions and providing information clearly and confidently.
• Helping customers navigate an online platform and complete their submission.
• Following up by email with relevant information and links.
• Maintaining accurate records of calls, outcomes and follow-ups.
• Managing a database and keeping information up to date.
• Escalating technical or more complex queries where required.
• Working towards agreed call and conversion targets.
