Confidential is seeking an experienced Temporary Commercial Waste Account Manager for an office-based role in Cambridgeshire. You will manage a live portfolio, grow the customer base and ensure high standards of environmental compliance.

The role requires proven B2B sales, account management and waste industry experience. You will run site visits with your own vehicle and work outside regular hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience including cold calling and closing deals.
• Experience in account management and building client relationships.
• Waste industry experience preferred; strong B2B sales from other sectors considered.
• Strong problem-solving and pricing negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Full driving licence and own vehicle required for site visits.
• Willingness to work outside normal office hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan targeted sales activity: calls, emails and client visits.
• Qualify leads, write proposals and negotiate prices to close sales.
• Maintain strong relationships and act as main contact for queries.
• Conduct on-site waste audits and service checks with clear feedback.
• Keep customer records up to date in the CRM.
• Coordinate with colleagues on invoicing and day-to-day operations.
• Report regularly on sales figures, pipeline and KPIs.
