Job summary

Lawsons Ltd. in Romford is seeking a motivated Telesales professional to handle telephone enquiries, develop customer relationships and drive sales of building materials to trade and retail customers.

You will communicate confidently by telephone, be commercially aware and focused on excellent customer service while meeting sales targets. The role operates Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a 1-in-2 rotation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in telesales or internal sales or customer service.
• Experience in builders’ merchants or building materials is essential.
• Confident, professional telephone manner and target-driven.
• Good communication, listening and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with trade, retail and account customers.
• Develop relationships and generate sales of building materials.
• Respond promptly with product, pricing, availability and delivery info.
• Process orders, confirm specs, quantities and payment details.
• Promote products, offers and account facilities to meet sales targets.
• Follow up quotations and convert opportunities into orders.
