Job summary

Pertemps Northampton is looking for a Telesales Lead Generator to join the Northampton office. You will identify and engage potential customers, generating qualified appointments for Business Development Managers across the UK.

The role is office-based, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break. You will be on the phones, handle objections, and drive growth while building a strong CRM database.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a new business lead generation, telesales, appointment-setting or outbound sales role.
• Confident making a high volume of outbound calls.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact prospective clients via telephone to generate new business opportunities.
• Book qualified sales appointments for Business Development Managers.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads.
• Qualify business requirements and gather key customer information.
• Follow up on marketing campaigns and sales enquiries.
• Accurately update CRM systems and sales records.
• Work towards and exceed individual KPIs and targets.
• Represent the business professionally at all times.
